TQ Constructions is the business of Northern Rivers builder Grant Taylor, and his wife Loren. Our aim is to provide a hassle-free experience for locals wishing to improve or extend their home or investment property.
GRANT TAYLOR
Grant is a licensed and insured builder, with over fifteen years of richly varied experience in the construction industry. He has been a member of the Master Builders Association of NSW for over ten years.
From custom-designed new homes to architectural penthouse renovations and heritage property extensions, Grant has been involved in building projects of all shapes and sizes throughout his career. He has also previously worked as a supervisor overseeing hundreds of insurance builds in the local area, allowing him to compile a portfolio of quality trades.
Since the establishment of TQ Constructions in late 2018, Grant has focused on providing quality residential building solutions for Northern Rivers' locals wishing to renovate or extend their home to better suit their needs.
Grant also has a keen interest in sustainable building solutions, and believes improving home energy efficiency and reducing household running costs will increasingly become a priority for clients.
LOREN TAYLOR
Loren enjoyed a decade-long career in design and product development roles within the fashion industry before relocating to the Northern Rivers with Grant to raise their family. Her background liaising with both buyers and suppliers, and managing production schedules, has allowed her to bring to the business plenty of relevant organisational experience.
Loren's role within the business is varied, and includes a lot of behind-the-scene tasks such as photography, social media, website management and accounts.

At TQ Constructions, we've found one of the highlights of living in the beautiful Northern Rivers to be the rich sense of community we enjoy. We believe that as a local business relying on the support of those who live around us, it's important that we in turn support other Northern Rivers' families. As such, we're committed to always using local trades and suppliers, ensuring money spent in the Northern Rivers stays in our local economy.
