By far the best Building contractor we have ever had in our home. The attention to detail is nothing short of amazing and the respect shown to us as home owners by Grant was more than I could have hoped for. Grant took on a major challenge with our home, he paced his work very well and coordinated sub-contractors reliably. Grant is a great communicator, I always knew where we were up to and when plans needed to be adjusted due to unexpected challenges. Loren is really good at keeping on top of paperwork, billing was reliable and timely with great communication where changes or variations were necessary. I recommend TQ Constructions to anyone and cannot wait to save more pennies to have them come back to do additional work in our home. From first meeting to last Grant conducted himself with courtesy and professionalism. He always telephoned prior to meeting with me, always arrived promptly and kept me informed of progress at all times. When I decided I needed a small step to be included, Grant quickly organised for this to be carried out and fit the work into his schedule, and mine. His work was always thorough and neat and the local tradesmen who assisted were also professional and neat in their work. No detail seemed to be too small with Grant returning to the property and adding a bead of silicone to improve the finish. At completion the area was completely and thoroughly cleaned. I am entirely satisfied with the workmanship and the finished look.
I would have no hesitation in recommending TQ Constructions as honest, reliable and professional and would certainly have them return to my home for any further renovation I might consider.

"Our 1970s house, with all brick interior walls and exposed timber high ceilings, has always been a challenge for tradesmen. We put off any major internal renovations for six and half years just thinking that no one could possibly fix our main bathroom and laundry without major demolition of internal walls. We knew that Grant from TQ Constructions was going to be good because he came quickly to quote our job, listened to all of our functionality and building problems, but stayed to measure and sketch for over an hour. Then he and Loren got together and came up with an ingenious way of giving us a three-way bathroom without having to demolish any internal brick walls. We were in! TQ Constructions has exceeded all of our expectations from the fair quote, beginning planning, choosing of hardware, demolition, management of rubbish, time frame, management of trades, site access and cleanup all the way through to handover. Grant is very personable and has an admirable work ethic. He is always respectful of the owner and collaborative about solving problems. He employs excellent tradespeople that are also easy to work with. He is an honest and fair project manager who holds the respect of his suppliers, electricians, plumbers, cabinetmakers, tilers, waterproofers and glass installers.Loren is the efficient, behind the scenes, manager of finance, social media and design.We are so happy with our modernised 3-way main bathroom and laundry that we are eager to have TQ Constructions back to renovate our en-suite, kitchen, interior walls, doors and ceilings We are even excited to have them organise our site office and furnish it with an outdoor deck.
